Introduction

It has been suggested to me that I do a study on salvation and to keep it as simple as I could.

Most new Christians called it being “saved” which is a misnomer (named wrong) at the very least.  It should be called…reborn…or born again spiritually…John 3.

You are not “saved” until Jesus comes back at the Rapture.  Until then, you are practicing salvation as a child of God. You are trying your best to be Christ-like in all you do and say and act.

Most will say and do things that they think a Christian should (in front of other people) and then act like the Devil himself the rest of the time.  Some may act and do the things a Christian should but then say things to hurt other people or curse and use improper language that no Child of God should be using!

They might also talk and act like a Christian but do things that God does not approve of.

In all of these things they are not being Christians!

There are lots of good people that do none of these things and think they are ready for Jesus to come.  Not so! GOOD PEOPLE DO NOT GET TO HEAVEN…REPENTANT PEOPLE DO!  It does not matter how good you are but whether you have repented of your sins and asked Jesus to be the Lord of your life.

You will make mistakes (and I am not talking about practicing sin over and over and over) but you can still go to Jesus and receive pardon (forgiveness) for those mistakes.
