III. LOWER RANKED ANGELS….NAMES AND CHARACTER
These angels are lower in rank than Gabriel and Michael.
SERAPHIM…means The Burning One [Isaiah 6:1/4]
CHERUBIMS…same as a cherub…"ims" is simply plural.

Satan was a Cherub in the beginning before his fall from grace
Seems to mean …a covering or to cover. [Ezk. 28:12/15]
Angels are invisible for the most part but have the power to become visible.
(1) Invisible…[Numbers 22:20/30]
(2) Visible….[Numbers 22:31/34]
Angels can also eat, drink and change appearances both Good and Bad….[Genesis 18:1/8]
The Word says that we may be entertaining angels and be unaware of it…….[Hebrews 18:2]
God understands that in this day and age we
(especially women) must be careful. In my opinion,
He does not hold it against us, for example, if we don’t pick up
hitch-hikers or don't open our doors to just anyone.
A scripture can have more than one meaning and
the Word says that in these last says that if it were possible,
even the very Elect would be deceived. So we need to be careful and wise about
things.
Angels are also Immortal (not subject to death) just as we will become at the Rapture! [Luke 20:34/38]
Angels are:
(1) Wise….[2nd Samuel 14:17/20]
(2) Powerful and Obedient…[Psalms 103:20,21]
(3) Sexless….[Matthew 22:29,30]
(4) Holy….[Matt. 25:31]
(5) Have emotions and care about people [Luke 7:10] [1st Peter 1:12]
(6) Elect…meaning chosen….[1st Timothy 5:21]
(7) Meek…Obey but still have spirit [Jude 9]
(8) Uncountable…..[Rev. 5:11]
